| A New Alternative to Polycarbonate |
|
For quite awhile, there has been a “gap” in the overlay market between vinyl at the low end of the cost temperature/scale, and polycarbonate at the high end. Polycarbonate is good to 275 deg F, but is expensive. Vinyl is inexpensive, but only good to 140 deg F.
Introducing Silenna™ Silenna™ is 40% less expensive than polycarbonate and has temperature resistance far superior to vinyl. Its appearance is very similar to the velvet appearance of 8B35 velvet polycarbonate. So here’s how the 3 materials compare: |
